Tea is an anti-cancer properties

Tea is an anti-cancer properties

The anticancer effect of tea were reviewed. According to statistics, there are a number of countries, more than 20 laboratories have tea extracts and tea polyphenols in animal models of cancer reported in different organs. 100mL boiling water with 1.25g of tea plus green tea as the only beverage in mice, can induce chemical carcinogens in mouse lung tumors by 36% ~ 44%, the propagation of the tumor decreased by 44% to 60%. Oolong tea also has the same effect. In addition, green tea or oolong tea with the disposal of animal experimental animals could esophagus, stomach or skin cancer reduced by 70%.
The study also shows that tea's anti-cancer activity in at least two weeks prior to treatment with the carcinogen feeding of green tea or oolong tea, and continued until 1 week after carcinogen treatment obtained the best results. Epidemiological investigation showed that people drinking more low risk of gastric cancer. Used to think that drinking will increase the incidence of reports of esophageal cancer is caused due to drink hot tea, such as drinking tea can reduce the normal temperature of the incidence of esophageal cancer. Tea anti-cancer effective dose studies have shown that when hamsters after drinking 2 to 3 cups of tea, tea polyphenols equivalent to anti-cancer blood test in the effective dose concentration.
Tea's anti-cancer mechanism of the following points:
① antioxidant activity of tea polyphenols;
② tea polyphenols inhibit the priming effect on the tumors enzymes (ornithine decarboxylase, protein kinase C, lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase) activity;
③ with anti-cancer activity of tea polyphenols may promote enzyme (glutathione peroxidase, catalase, glutathione-S transferase, NADPH-quinone reductase, uridine diphosphate glucuronic acid aminotransferase and methoxy -9 - hydroxy different thiophene D149 yl-O-dealkylation enzyme) activity;
④ enhance immunity;
⑤ anti-tumor activity of proliferation.
